Varsha Yoga offers fun flowing Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Yin yoga classes, as well as meditation and relaxation workshops in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. We also host multiple retreats every year, in amazing locations both within Australia and overseas (when available).
Varsha Yoga incorporates elements of breathwork, vinyasa flow, functional movement, mindfulness and even Traditional Chinese Medicine into yoga classes.
Restorative yoga is a relaxing practice where the poses are held for a few minutes each with the aid of cushions, bolsters blankets and other props.
Yin yoga also uses longer holds and stillness, and focuses on the fascia or connective tissue as well as incorporating Traditional Chinese Medicine into the practice.

Classes are fun and flowing with a focus on strengthening the body and calming the mind. Classes are suitable for all levels as multiple variations are offered for each pose. Varsha Yoga was started out of my desire to share the practice of yoga with others. Yoga has changed my life in so many positive ways and I am so grateful that I found it. I am originally from Vancouver, Canada where I started practicing yoga in 2008 after I injured my back in a snowboarding accident. I tried yoga to help heal my back as well as calm my mind. I fell in love with it, but I never expected where it would take me. Yoga has not only improved my physical strength, and flexibility, but has also improved my mental clarity, and eased anxiety. Over the last few years yoga has positively changed my life, giving me the tools live a positive, healthy and successful life.
I started my Yoga Teacher Training journey with Being Yoga on the Sunshine Coast in 2014. I completed my first 200 hour training with them in 2014 and finished level two, 300 hour teacher training with Being Yoga in 2016. I have also done Roots and Evolution of Vinyasa training with the incredible Shiva Rea, and countless other workshops with amazing teachers from around the globe.I have also completed 50 hour Yin Yoga teacher training. I am now a 500+ hour certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher with well over a thousand teaching hours under my belt. I am inspired to share what I know of this life changing practice with others. I am also forever a student and will endeavour to continue my training so I will always have more to share. I am currently studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine so expect to find some of this ancient wisdom woven into my teaching as well.
